We have a potential enrollment who has an ID diagnosis from his doctor, but after contacting his high school, we have learned that his psychological evaluation has been destroyed because it has been so many years since he graduated. The high school did verify that he was diagnosed with MR, 500 minutes of SpEd a week, and graduated (I don’t know how they know one but don’t have the psychological eval). Beyond getting another psychological eval, is there a way we can enroll him? He has no family support.
Sometimes Social Security Office will require a copy or a new eval when starting SS. They may have a copy he can request. If he is part of PASSE, they may pay for a new eval. Other than that, all I know is there would have to be a new eval. I am curious to see if there is any other option that I do not know about.
