I agree it has gotten worse every year but this year is way over the top! It was not a fun conversation asking for all of this information from my Board members.
Yes. The requirement for the Directors of our Board to sign and notarize the document and also provide a copy of their driver’s license is significant overreach and unnecessary. If an organization is a for profit they do not have this requirement.
Agree with Stephanie. It is overly burdensome.
I absolutely agree!!
Yes, it is more cumbersome than ever.
It has been a nightmare and obviously the new department has no idea what they are doing.
This is my first time having to fill out the annual application however, Sabrina and Steven have been helping me and both have stated that it is asking for way more information than in previous years. I have ours turned in and waiting to hear back from them.
Absolutely, this year’s application was a lot! It was more than we ever had to do and from my understanding, even some of the forms they want are not even published by them yet.
We sent ours in last Friday and are waiting back to see what we did wrong or did not do, it was too much!
We are experiencing the same thing. We are waiting for them to create some forms that are required for us to submit. It is very unorganized.
Agree with everyone – the worst application process ever!
As well as forms not being created yet, there are portions that will not save when you save it at the bottom.
It is crazy ridiculous to have to jump through this many hoops!
I don’t know why it can’t be saved and updated instead of reworked every year.( just make any necessary changes of information) This year seems like an excessive amount of information is needed and I don’t really know why.
I have had all the same issues as everyone else.
I agree. I have experienced the same as everyone else.
I agree with Stephanie. But they did take the notary requirement off the verification form. They changed that right after I printed a bunch out, of course. Very small victory…
But yes, crazy. I have a call with my rep with CACFP to go through the whole thing scheduled for tomorrow. Hoping that highlights some things-especially parts I don’t even have to do. Hope you have a good rep that can be helpful. If you don’t, I would go up the ladder and ask for someone different. The rep can make or break your stay at the state mental hospital…
I will say my rep has been great at answering questions.
While complicated, it’s not impossible and the support staff knows we are all having trouble. They are willing to extend deadlines and they are very helpful and responsive. Also, you know longer need the notarized piece.
