Yes! Also, because we have to bill any private insurance first, we must have them credentialed with all of those companies. There is no uniform or universal form or format for credentialling. Some entities require updates yearly, some every 2-3 years. Also, when billing for the private insurance, be aware that there are guidelines about therapy frequency. UMR, for example will only pay for 1 therapy a day. So, our child with UMR has OT and ST on different days. Ironically, UMR pays more than Medicaid.
