Has anyone been through the process to become better beginnings rated? I read online that EIDTs can receive an automatic 2 star rating, but I am not having any luck with my licensing officer and am being directed to contact ADE. Has anyone recently went through this process? The reason I am inquiring about this is to be able to accept state vouchers which would open up some daycare slots to the public. We are in a very rural part of the state and there are not a lot of options for childcare.

Here is the ELS Portal link https://ardhslicensing.my.site.com/elicensing/s/?language=en_US To submit your Better Beginnings application online through your provider portal. These are the steps to begin that process. Login – Manage Facilities – View Facility (If you own multiple facilities, they all will be listed here. Select the facility that you want to apply for better beginnings for) –Better Beginnings applications – Start new application. Select Reciprocation and Application for recertification.
