We (Civitan Services) do not close other than a day or two over the 4th of July holiday (depending on where the 4th falls in the week).
Full time employees are eligible for pay for these days if they follow appropriate guidelines in our handbook.
Easterseals does not close our ADDT or EIDT during the summer months
Our (ACCESS Group) EIDT and our adult day program closes for 2-3 days the week before school starts. We pay our employees for that time, but some choose to work (especially the teachers, teacher assistants, and admin). If they choose to work, we allow them to bank those hours for extra PTO to use another day.
We (Magnolia Specialized Services) don’t close our ADDT or EIDT, but added 12 extra paid days off for our staff to take at their discretion.
Profiles does not close during the summer. We (Independent Living Services) are closed a week at Christmas and our staff are paid that week.
We (York Williams Children Dev. Center) are open year around. If we close, we wouldn’t have the funds to cover other responsibilities.
Integrity doesn’t close during the summer except for 4th of July and Labor Day. Staff get paid for those holidays.

Ouachita Enrichment Centers does not close for the summer months.
We have five weeks of closure during our year. 2 weeks in the summer, 2 weeks in winter, spring break, thanksgiving, and holidays. We have a generous PTO and vacation package that employees can opt to use on or off the breaks, but it does help try to cover some of the time off. They can also apply for unemployment during the closure. The closure is subject to change, for instance, if we have a lot of snow, we will open during one of the breaks. We intend to operate 231 days/ year.
Archild does not close in the summer.
We (Yell Co. Special Services Center) close our EIDT, but offer our employees the opportunity to be paid for attending summer workshops at our local educational co-op or classes offered through ASU.
Our ADDT has a reduced schedule for the summer (open 3 days) and the staff is offered opportunities to work doing much needed cleaning and decluttering in our preschool to get it ready for the next year along with offering them hours in our group homes.
We (Sunshine School & Dev. Center) close for one week for Summer Break over the 4th of July holiday. Our hourly staff are not paid except for holiday pay on the 4th of July. We do allow them to work on PDR trainings for up to 4 hours during the break. The teaching staff can also spend up to 8 hours working doing classroom resets and organization.

Yes, we (Sevier County Dev. Center) close after the 4th of July for 2 weeks. We close for the week before school starts in August. We let the staff take vacation leave if they want to are they can draw employment. Our unemployment tax is only 1.1 percent, and some also take built up leave time
