If the DSP is full time, we do offer health insurance. We pay 75% employee pays 25%, automatic 25,000 life insurance policy, 401K with 3% match. We offer PTO time to full time DSPs. Try to staff even if it means paying OT. If they need extended leave or just time off, they have to put a request on our MITC system at least 2 wks in advance. We try to be accommodating, but also, we have a policy in place with an allotted time off amount depending on the years of service (more so for ones who have abused time off in the past.
