MFP can be used to pay for goods and services that individuals transitioning into the community. It can pay for things such as essential household items, limited home modifications, etc., those things that providers are looking for ways to cover when person first transitions and have no resources or family to provide. MFP is not a new program and many of our providers have used it in the past- many times DDS Care Coordinator would assist or Case Managers would do the application.
