Psychotropic medication is not a determining factor for implementing a Positive Behavior Support Plan. That was a previous DDS requirement. A high score on the Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan determines if a PBSP will be implemented. -Response received from DDS Psych team and Licensure Unit April 2024 Scotty Powell scotty.powell@rocoh.org I personally reached out to DDS about this and was informed that they too look at the Risk Mitigations to determine if BPIP or BH Plan is needed; not medications. Angela Hooker angela.sfadc@gmail.com It is no longer required. We only do the bpsp and behavior plans based off the risk mitigation only. Its in the April 2024 ces waiver standards. Tabitha Taylor ttaylor@focusinc.org My understanding is that it’s no longer required for psychotropic meds. We only utilize the RMP to determine the need for BPIPs and PBSPs. Reese Partin Reese.
