For those programs who are reimbursed for meals, if you have had and are still having trouble with your application being approved, especially since the food program is apparently administered by the ADE. We have had our application returned at least twice and Monday we will resubmit. It has something to do with the meal rate calculator being incomplete? The adults are fine, it is the children that is incomplete. We will get our ADE contact to hopefully help us Monday but even when approved we will have to ask the head of that program for an extension to bill for October since it is passed the 60-day deadline. Anyone else experiencing this difficulty?
Yes, we are adults only and we had issues with the meal rate calculator. Our application was finally approved early December, we billed for October and November, and have not yet been paid for those months. Carissa O'Bryant carissa@marvaworkshop.org I would strongly recommend going straight to supervisors if your current ADE contact is not able to walk you through the error over the phone. We had a couple issues with our application, and we were able to correct it in live time while on the phone with our ADE contact. It has been VERY frustrating, for sure!
