A native Arkansan, she has been married to her husband, Stan, for 26 years, and they have one daughter, Ashton. Following a decade in mental health, she joined the State of Arkansas in 2009, working within the Division of Developmental Disabilities. For almost 16 years, she has contributed to the National Core Indicators Survey project, assuming the lead role in 2019. In that same year, she began to oversee investigations of incident reports and to manage the CES Waiver Provider Licensure Unit.
