Bio:

Dr. Jenny McCormack Walker loves people. She has worked in education and non-profit leadership for more than 20
years, and she has always focused her efforts on being a champion for those who are overlooked and underserved. Over
the course of her career, she has earned many awards and honors for her work, but she considers the successful lives of
those she has taught or mentored to be the best evidence of her impact on the community she serves. She earned a
doctorate in education leadership and a master’s degree in education administration from Texas A&M University –
Texarkana, and she has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of North Texas. Dr. Walker lives in Texarkana
with her husband, Greg, and their children Ryan Kate and Owen. The family is owned by two goldendoodles – Johnny and
Herschel – who live their best lives with absolutely no boundaries.

Little Bits of Good:  Finding Hope and Impact in the Everyday Work of Service

In non-profit work, there is never enough money, resources, or support to go around, but still we persist even on the
toughest days. South African church leader and activist Desmond Tutu once said, “Do your little bit of good where you
are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.” In this interactive presentation, we will explore
those little bits of good and find hope for persevering so we can continue doing this vital work that makes an incredibly
important impact on the men and women in your programs
