Danny Farmer is a Vice President & Risk Advisor of Gallagher Co.

He devotes 95% of his time working with Arkansas nonprofits on their property & casualty insurance programs. He has 40 years’ experience in risk management and consults with businesses nationwide on insurance, safety and loss issues.

In 2001 he represented the first employer held liable for the distracted driving of an employee using a cell phone. ($20.9 million in damages)

In July 2006 Danny, Risk Management Resources and Arkansas Transit Association created the ATA Workers Compensation Self Insured Trust. The ATAWCSIT serves 72 nonprofits and covers 17,000+ Arkansas employees. As of 2024, the ATAWCSIT board has approved and returned over $8,000,000 in surplus savings to the 72 member insureds.
