Deputy Director of Special Programs for Arkansas Rehabilitation Services including Pre-Employment Transition Services, Supported Employment, Independent Living, Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Transition Services. I am a certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Career Development Facilitator and have worked with individuals with disabilities for the last 15 years helping connect them to resources, employment, and accommodations to improve their quality of life.
A discussion of Arkansas Rehabilitation Services Pre-Employment Transition program and how ARS creates opportunities throughout the year for youth with disabilities to become successfully employed after high school implementing our five PE Core services within our WOLF, WIN!, and Vendor programs. We will also briefly discuss the transition from Pre-Employment services in high school to Vocational Services in ARS Adult program discussing resources to help eliminate barriers to employment, supported employment, and training opportunities.
