Several providers expressed willingness to share ADDT policies and procedures through the DDPA peer network. Providers interested in obtaining or sharing sample P&Ps were encouraged to reach out through the DDPA listserv.
Areas where providers most commonly sought sample policies:
– Behavior support and PBSP procedures
– Medication administration and documentation
– Community integration activities and transportation safety
– Emergency procedures (medical, weather, evacuation)
– Staff training documentation and competency verification
– Personal care and hygiene assistance
– Documentation of daily programming and goal tracking
When adapting shared P&P samples, providers should review them against current DDS/DHS standards for the ADDT service category and have them reviewed by your DDS licensing specialist before finalization.
